It was a night filled with fabulous celebrity appearances, remarkable performances, and plenty of trophies, and as the dust cleared at the American Music Awards both Chris Brown and Rihanna emerged as two of the night’s biggest winners.
The “Umbrella” songstress went two for two, winning both the Favorite Soul/R&B Female Artist and Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist.
Meanwhile, Brown needed some extra help getting his hardware home, as he took the prize in 3 categories- Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist, Favorite Soul/ R&B Male Artist, and Artist of the Year.
