Making use of her big earnings, Rihanna was spotted out over the Labor Day weekend spending some cash in Beverly Hills on Saturday

Accompanied by a few friends, the “Umbrella” hitmaker dropped by the Gucci store on Rodeo Drive before heading to Cafe Med for a bite to eat.

And less than a week from now, Rihanna will be performing her hit song “Disturbia” at the MTV Video Music Awards, joining other acts including the Jonas Brothers, Kanye West, Christina Aguilera and Kid Rock.

The VMAs are set to air on September 7th from Los Angeles, with British comedian Russell Brand playing the part of host.
